    Caramelised sunflower seeds

    Sunflower: Helianthus annuus

Sunflower is a plant of the Asteraceae family native to North America. The stem, very large, can reach 4 meters in height. Its petals are pale yellow color. Sunflowers have the particularity to tilt toward the sun; this phenomenon is called “heliotropism”. Sunflower seeds are rich in oil, unsaturated fatty acids and antioxidants. They are mainly eaten shelled and are used in many recipes of seed breads.

We caramelise the Sunflower Seeds. Coating the shelled seeds with caramels adds a deliciously sweet and crispy touch.
