    Queensland nut: macadamia integrifolia

    Native from Australia, macadamia nut is a round fruit encased in a round, brownish, smooth and extremely hard shell, protected by a thin, fleshy wrap.

    Very rich in oil and composed of monounsaturated fatty acids, called “good fat”, the macadamia nut is an excellent anti-cholesterol.

    We caramelise the whole Macadamia nut or in pieces. The caramel coating, in addition to giving a crunchy taste to the macadamia nut brings a shiny appearance composed of an elegant golden colour.
